BSA/AML Compliance Training

Monday, October 21
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Sponsored by

Separate registration required – certificates of compliance issued and ACAMS Continuing Education Credit awarded for successful completion.

The regulatory focus on Bank Secrecy Act Anti-Money Laundering compliance is becoming more intense as threats to data security, fraud, and other criminal behavior increase. Failure to meet the increasing requirements of federal and state regulators can not only result in fines and sanctions, it can also mean the loss of banking relationships and even imperil your business’ very existence. In order to meet these challenges MSBs must ensure they maintain and implement proper BSA/AML policies and procedures and provide ongoing training of all levels of personnel engaged in compliance functions.

In assisting MSBs to fulfill their compliance obligations, FiSCA is pleased to announce that a prominent team from Capital Compliance Experts will lead our BSA/AML Compliance Training Session at this year’s Money Trends Conference. This intensive two-hour session will highlight a variety of topics including best practices for maintaining your bank account, transaction monitoring, cybersecurity, risk assessment of information systems, federal and state legislative developments, the obligations of chief information security officers (CISOs), access privileges, and reporting requirements. The presenters from Capital Compliance Experts will also provide key tips for prevention, detection, and responding to cyberattacks.

Who Should Attend: The BSA/AML Compliance Training session is ideal for MSB owners and senior officers, compliance officers, CISOs, risk managers, legal compliance personnel, and any other personnel who are required to design, implement, or monitor the BSA/AML program of their company.

ACAMS Continuing Education Credit: As an added bonus for attending, Capital Compliance Experts has applied to ACAMS for certification of this course for continuing education credit.

The Capital Compliance Experts team will include:

Kofi Kyeremeh, CAMS, BSA Compliance Consultant. Legal and CAMS certified compliance professional with over 10 years of experience in the development and management of corporate compliance programs.

Veena Naidu, BSA Compliance Consultant. Experienced compliance professional with more than 30 years of experience in operational risk and compliance, BSA/AML processes, procedures, auditing, and testing, including enhanced due diligence in high risk industries of MSBs, payment processors, payday lenders, and casinos.
